Review: CNP Laboratory 2-Step Propolis Energy Ampule Mask ★★★★★
This 2-step mask contains active propolis extract, known for its antioxidant properties, to intensively moisturize and enhance skin’s vitality. The first step, Propolis Energy Ampule, contains concentrated propolis extract and the second step, Propolis Energy Ampoule Mask, contains niacinamide. Both contains Hyaluronic Acid to moisturize skin deep during masking.
My skin is feeling pretty alright, just a little dryness. I’ve already cleansed, toned and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Step 1 contains a brownish ampoule with gel-like consistency. It is meant to prep the skin before masking. This has Propolis extract as the 2nd ingredient on the list. The ampoule is scentless and feels really sticky. It took a hot minute of rubbing in to get it to sort of dry down on my skin.
Step 2 is the sheet mask. This contains niacinamide and has Propolis listed as the last ingredient on the list. No matter, I already got my dose of Propolis in step 1. The cotton sheet was super thick and drenched in clear watery essence. There was a faint hospital-like scent, which was hardly noticeable.
Fit was great but adherence was boo. The edges had a hard time sticking down on my face and I’m guessing people with more pronounced features will find this floating above their cheekbones. I had this on for nearly an hour.
There was a generous layer of essence left on my skin. Again, it took a hot minute of rubbing in to get it to dry down. Even then, it was still pretty sticky. The stickiness did subside about an hour later. But my my, how great my skin looks and feels! My skin looks even, poreless and dewy. It feels hydrated, smooth and supple. All I ask for in a sheet mask!
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I had a good skin day the entire day and couldn’t stop admiring my skin! I’ll repurchase just a couple because of how expensive it is, and reserve them for special occasions.
