This Anti-Oxidant Injection mask is one of four in the injection mask line, the latest release from Banobagi. All four are made using different types of materials, this particular variety is made of long fiber sheet for adherence and moisture retention. Find reviews of the other varieties here.
The main ingredient, alpha-lipoic, specializes in revitalizing complexion. This variety also contains beneficial ingredients like collagen, bamboo water, raspberry extract, acai extract, snow fungus extract, amino acids, wheat and soy protein. These are great for healing, hydrating, and plumping skin. This also contains carbomer towards the end of the list, sensitive skin users beware.
My skin is feeling slightly dry and very irritated today. I’ve already cleansed, toned and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I detected a light medicinal fragrance. Licorice? Essence was viscous and milky.
The long fiber sheet was thin and soft and very pliable. Close up pic of the material reminds me of wound gauze.
Fit was amazing. No sneeze test today, I’m getting better. But a quick face scrunch test proved that the adherence was amazing too. The masking session lasted 45 mins, there was a thin layer of essence left on my skin.
While patting the essence in, my skin felt super smooth and plump! My skin looks smoother, brighter and less red. The essence dried down very quickly to a non-sticky finish. I did add a layer of moisturizer as it wasn’t enough for my combo dry skin.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Considering how affordable a variety pack costs, I would repurchase and I highly recommend this to oilier skin types and daytime masking. Check out more Banobagi reviews here.
