My skin is feeling dry today, and I’m battling two gigantic pimples this week. They are huge, deep, and painful to the touch. Please be prepared for a close-up of said pimples. You have been warned.
I’ve already cleansed, toned and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, a strong citrusy scent wafted towards me. But it faded very quickly into a light scent once I had the mask on.
Essence is viscous and slightly milky.
The material felt like medium thick cotton. It was drenched in essence, there wasn’t much left in the packet. It was pretty easy to unfold and adjust to the facial contours.
Fit was decent, it is wider than it is long and I wish the eye holes were wider. Adherence was also decent, this stayed on if I’m not moving too much. I had this on for about 45 mins, the scent lingered but I didn’t mind since it smelt like citrus candy.
My skin definitely felt soothed! It emitted a healthy glow, is less red, and felt super soft and hydrated! Finish was slightly tacky, which went away after a couple of hours.
My pimples are definitely less red. They also felt less painful to the touch. There was hardly any change to my pore size though, no matter since this mask did not claim to do that anyway.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This is great for dry, sensitive skin peeps and drier climates! I highly recommend and repurchase for sure! Check out more Oka Recipe reviews here.
