This mask is different from Lululun’s usual million-sheets-in-a-box masks. This is their premium (and therefore pricier) special care ONE masks that come individually packed in a classy-looking box of 5. It contains squalane (4th) and jojoba seed oil (6th). It also contains Brightenyl (a stabilized gallic acid) for healing the skin, and apple and grape stem cell extracts to re-texturize skin.
My skin is experiencing lots of sensitivity today. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I did not detect any scent. Essence was creamy and opaque. Their unique micro oil processing method means beauty ingredients penetrate deep for soft skin plumped up with moisture!
The opaque cotton sheet felt thick and stiff. Cuts (eye flaps, nose flap and slits) were held together by a piece of thread, while I was trying to pull them apart, the material kinda stretched a little. Advise to use a scissors.
Fit was okay, there was too much material between my eyes and it was hard to blink. The sides were also too wide so I folded them down. Adherence was great! It stung for the first 10 mins around my more sensitive nasolabial area. I had this on for a total of 35 mins, the sheet mask was still very damp and clinging on.
After massaging in the essence, my skin felt extremely hydrated and looked very dewy, but didn’t feel sticky. It felt like a thin layer of watery oil on my skin. My skin texture was refined in the sense that my pitted scars and fine lines were plumped. There were also above average brightening and calming effects.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I’m loving this mask! It’s definitely a night time mask given how emollient it is, perfect for the night before an important event.
