Review: Leaders Tea Tree Relaxing Renewal Mask ★★★★☆
What I like most about this line of masks is that it is formulated without mineral oil, paraben, silicon and artificial pigments. The matte packaging in pastel colors also felt very luxurious.
This mask is infused with chamomile extracts (soothe), sugar maple extract (nature’s AHA – gentle exfoliant), tea tree leaf oil (anti-inflammatory), and witch hazel water (astringent) to control oil, balance skin, and soothe irritated and sensitive skin. Out of the 8 masks in Leaders’ Treatment and Renewal series, this is probably my favorite.
My skin is feeling pretty good today just a few post acne marks that need fading. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a beautiful tea tree scent. Not everyone likes this scent but I happen to love it. Essence was gel-like and viscous. The natural cellulose cotton material was of medium thickness but felt soft.
Fit was good, I folded down the sides which were too wide for me. Adherence was great! I had this on for 40 mins and it was still tightly clinging on.
There were lots of essence left to massage in. After which my skin felt super hydrated and soft. My skin looked very dewy, which was ideal for me since I like the dewy look. But normal and oily skin peeps might find this greasy so I’d recommend using this at night. Using this in the day might also result in hair sticking to your face when the wind blows. The greasiness did subside throughout the day. I can’t attest to any anti-acne effects since I currently do not have any active acne. However, it did a great job of calming down my redness, leaving me with an even skin tone.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
