Review: Biobelle Purifying Black Lace Hydrogel #Glam Mask ★★★★★
I’ve been searching high and low for this! It’s finally in my grimy paws!
Biobelle Purifying Black Lace Hydrogel #Glam Mask claims to brighten, minimize pores, and renew skintone to give skin a radiance boost. It is formulated with skin-nourishing ingredients like tapioca pearls, algin, and truffle extract, as well as glycolic acid and black tea. I like that it does not contain sulfates and phthalates.
My skin is feeling pretty good today just a few post acne marks that need fading. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a grape candy scent, yums! Essence was clear and watery. The biodegradable hydrogel sheet came in 2 pieces, top and bottom, sandwiched between 2 plastic backings per piece. They’re sooo delicate and pretty!
I don’t think there is a smooth and textured side, so I randomly peeled off a backing, placed one side on my face and peeled off the other backing. The hydrogel material felt thinner and softer than most hydrogels. As with most hydrogel masks I’ve tried, the fit and adherence were amazing! I had this on for 45 mins, it was still damp.
Essence absorbed fast and left a silky, non-sticky finish. My skin texture looked so smooth! My pore size was reduced, lines plumped and complexion looked very bright overall. Even my active acne was hurting less. Redness did not completely disappear but it was not too bad. My skin felt nicely hydrated but still required an occlusive or hydrating sunscreen to seal everything in. While doing so I noticed how baby soft my skin felt.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This is great for the summer or for oily skin peeps! The wait for this one was worth it! Check out more Biobelle reviews here.
