Review: Frienvita Aqua-Peeling Filtering Mask Centella Vita H ★★★★★
I can’t bear to use this mask but I really need it to heal my post-inflammatory erythema. My skin enjoyed the caviar variant so I’m hoping this one’s a rock star too.
This variant contains vitamin H, centella asiatica, niacinamide, and 1,000 ppm of volcanic ash. Vitamin H aka biotin, when consumed, boosts the health of hair and skin. This mask claims to soothe sensitive skin, remove dead skin cells, and deliver hydration.
My skin is feeling alright today, just a couple of post-inflammatory erythema to address. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I detected a Nyquil scent. Essence was a clear jelly. Sheet felt soft and smooth, and was between thin and medium thick.
Fit and adherence were great! I had this on for 30 mins and it was drying out.
Massaging the essence into my skin felt like I was applying my CosRx Snail Essence. My skin felt nicely hydrated and supple, and looked bright and radiant! Pores were smaller and redness reduced. My epidermis looked and felt thicker, which is something I’ve been working on the past couple of months. Finish was tacky at first but eventually went away.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I highly recommend this mask! This is perfect for oily skin types and hot days. On my skin type, I’d have to layer on a moisturizer in the PM or a hydrating creamy sunscreen in the AM. Check out more Frienvita reviews here.
