Review: Tony Moly I’m Real Green Tea Mask Sheet ★★☆☆☆
This green tea variant and other variants like rose, lotus, and charcoal etc are new releases to Tony Moly’s I’m Real range of sheet masks. I’m super excited to try this out! The packing of these masks are always so cute!
This green tea variant claims to refresh, brighten, and purify the skin with camellia sinensis lead extract (6th), aloe barbadensis leaf juice (7th), hyaluronic acid (8th), hydrolyzed collagen (9th), and allantoin (10th).
My skin is feeling alright today, just a couple of post-inflammatory erythema to address. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a heavy perfumey fragrance. Essence was a clear watery gel.
The 3-layer pulp sheet felt very stiff and thick, which affected the adherence. Fit was great though, thanks to the innumerable cuts. Holes were properly aligned and sheet wasn’t too wide.
Having used unscented skincare products meant for sensitive skin has really altered my sense of smell. The fragrance of this mask turned me off so much so that I wanted to rip the mask off at the 15 min mark, but I persevered till the 30 min mark. There were lots of air bubbles at this point.
Other than hydration and some calming, I didn’t notice any other effects. Finish Was dewy and slightly tacky.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This was a super basic mask to me. Considering the price point, I will not be repurchasing. Check out more Tony Moly reviews here.
