Packaging: 100ml frosted glass bottle and a long glass dropper dispenser. This is the largest ampoule packaging I’ve ever seen.
Claims: An all-in-one ampoule that can be used as toner, serum, mist, and facial pack, or mixed with a body lotion for special care. It soothes blemishes, helps with pigmentation, hydration, excess oil, and strengthens overall skin.
Notable ingredients: 100% undamaged centella asiatica extract from Madagascar (according to the label). Contains 30% asiaticoside (controls excess oil, helps skin to naturally form collagen); 30% asiatic acid (strengthens skin barrier, calms sensitive skin, provides antioxidant effects, and improves skin elasticity); and 40% madecassic acid (soothes stressed out skin, helps with pigmentation and skin damages).
Consistency/scent: Clear and sightly runny. Zero scent.
Thoughts: I’ve used this like an essence (after toner), and as the last step of the 7 skin method because it’s more hydrating than a regular toner. Using a whole dropper of product leaves behind a tacky residue but I’ve found a good balance in half dropper’s worth. It absorbed well and felt especially soothing after a day out in the sun. I was pleasantly surprised to see reduction in redness the next morning. Sometimes, when I feel blemishes brewing under my skin, I’ll soak a couple of cotton pads with these and leave it on my skin for 10 mins. It calmed down my skin and blemishes felt less painful.
Plus, it’s so frickin’ affordable for such a huge bottle! To empty the bottle, I foresee myself using this twice daily as an ampoule for 3 months straight! I highly recommend this for all skin types!
