Lay & Moo Moisturizing Olive Mask claims to give smoother, plumper, and younger-looking skin by nourishing, balancing and soothing the skin.
One of its main ingredients, France Ecocert natural organic olive extract, is a natural and healthy substance that is easily absorbed by the human body and skin. It adds oxygen and anti-oxidant, accelerates the skin immune system, regenerates and activates cells. The mask also contains a wealth of Sodium PCA natural moisture factor to make your skin more comfortable.
I’ve never heard of an olive-focused mask so I’m really excited to try this out! Also, I have a bias towards Taiwanese sheet masks, they tend to work better on my skin for some reason.
Olea European oil, unsaponifiables extracts, Lipidure (Polyquatemium-51), Sodium Hyaluronate, Trehalose
My skin is extremely congested from skipping exfoliation for the past week while I was on vacation. Also, say hello to my little red friend. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
The 100% natural fiber material felt thick yet soft. It came with a perforated plastic backing, which really helped with the unfolding process. Essence was a clear, non-drippy watery-gel that had a light clean scent.
Fit was great! It was a large enough sheet to cover my entire forehead and still had some excess on the sides. This would fit most face shapes.
Adherence was great if I stayed still. Any movement will cause it to lift up but it did stick back down rather easily.
Per my usual practice, I took the mask off after 30 mins and it was drying out. I should have waited 20 mins instead, which was what the instructions recommended.
There were lots of essence left to pat in. Absorption rate was moderate, giving a silky and slightly tacky finish. My skin felt plump and soft and had a moderate to high hydration level. My skin also looked very bright and calm. My little red friend had diminished in size. Skin texture also looked smooth and airbrushed. There was an overall healthy and glowy look to my skin!
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I’m highly impressed with this mask! I wish you would try it out yourself!
