Review: 16 Brand Ocean Toks Mask Pack (Ceylon Moss) ★★★★☆
One part of 9 masks from Chosungah, 16 Brand Ocean Toks Mask Pack (Ceylon Moss) claims to deliver moisture and nutrients to the skin. It is named ‘Ocean Toks’ because its key ingredient is 116 ppm of ceylon moss extract, which contains anti-aging benefits and in turn improving skin elasticity.
Sea water & snail extract: ability to disinfect, heal, and calm skin barrier issues
pearl extract: brightens skin

My skin is feeling dry and slightly irritated and congested. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a clean refreshing fragrance. I’m not against having fragrances in my skincare if they’re not too strong and actually smell good. But if you have a known sensitivity to fragrance ingredients, it’s better to avoid them.
The cotton sheet felt soft and had medium thickness. It did not come with a backing, which was unnecessary since it was pretty easy to unfold and apply.
Essence was clear and had a watery-gel consistency. After removing the sheet mask, there was some essence left in the packet for the neck.
Fit was great! There was some excess on the sides, suitable for faces of all sizes. I just wished the eye holes were bigger. I do not have large eyes and I already found them to be a tad uncomfortable. There are lots of people with larger eyes than mine and this may not work for them.
Surprisingly, adherence was great despite the sheet having a medium thickness. This is largely thanks to its softness. There were not lifted fold lines nor edges throughout the masking session. It stayed flat without introducing any air bubbles.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was slightly damp.
There was some essence left to pat in, it absorbed without much effort. Finish was very tacky and looked slightly dewy.
My skin felt very hydrated and plump without a moisturizing film on top. The random red patches were mostly gone, skin felt calm and no longer irritated. I did not notice any change to my pore size nor skin tone.
Due to the tackiness, I think this would make a great primer mask for dry and combo skin under make up. Oily skin types might find this more suitable as part of their night time skincare or wipe off the excess with a toner-soaked cotton pad if used in the day time.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I rarely say this but I think this is a sheet mask that’s suitable for all skin types. Considering the price point and results, I’m actually pretty impressed and wish they’re more widely available so I can try out the other variants too.
