Swanicoco 2GF Bio Mix Mask Pack claims to provide brightening and lifting effect, as well as firm the skin and deeply hydrate it with nutritious ingredients.
The unique essence is created by combining EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) and FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor) at a 1:1 ratio, hence the name 2GF. They play vital roles in composing our skin and revitalizing our dermis. FGF heals damaged dermis, increases collagen, strengthens skin layers for a healthier balance, and protects skin; while EGF works to protect the outer layers of our skin. Star ingredients include:
peptides – strengthen skin barrier
Amino 6 complex – moisturizes sensitive skin
hyaluronic acid – hydrates skin at a deep level
I’m a huge fan of the 2GF Bio Mix Pure Ampoule for hydrating and calming my skin. Hence I’m super curious if this mask would give me the same amazing effect. I’m, strictly speaking, starting to experience aging skin. The effects I look for in sheet masks are starting to evolve into wrinkle care, plumping, and firming.
My skin is feeling dehydrated and slightly sensitive. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Upon opening the packet, I noticed a thick wad of sheet mask sitting in clear, scentless essence with a watery-gel consistency. The essence felt exactly like the 2GF Bio Mix Pure Ampoule. The thick wad unfolded to reveal a bio-cellulose mask sandwiched between a thick fabric and a perforated plastic backings. It was a rather thick sheet, almost as thick as Leaders coconut gel mask.
The sheet mask did not feel as wet or juicy as most bio-cellulose masks do. Despite containing only 23 g of essence, there was still more than a palm-full left in the packet. I slathered the excess essence all over my face prior to placing the mask on to address the dryness issue.
Fit was great! Due to how soft the bio-cellulose material was, it was really easy to manipulate the material to get a customized fit. It was also large enough to have some excess on the sides. The holes were perfectly lined up with my features and were large enough.
Adherence was also great as with a bio-cellulose sheet masks. It clung on for its dear life like a second skin without introducing any air bubbles during the entire masking session.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was starting to dry out but not dry enough where the removal felt like I was peeling my own skin off. The mask removed pretty easily.
There was little to almost no essence left to pat in. The experience of patting in the essence felt just like I was applying the 2GF Bio Mix Pure Ampoule. It absorbed with ease, leaving behind a non-tacky and silky looking finish.
My skin felt very hydrated and somewhat moisturized. Oily skin will find this sufficient but combo skin might require a gel moisturizer and dry skin a regular cream moisturizer.
The biggest improvement I noticed was how plump and calm my skin looked. Fine lines and pitted scars were gone, giving way to smaller pores and therefore a smoother and firmer complexion. Skin tone looked even with almost zero redness. I also noticed some skin brightening.
My skin looked and felt great overall, it was so soft and bouncy, I couldn’t stop admiring it the entire day!
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
If you have $4 to spend on a sheet mask, this is the way to go. It’s definitely up there in price but for the amazing results it can deliver, I’d totally use this more often than just for a special occasion. Check out more Swanicoco reviews here.
