Before masking

My skin is feeling dehydrated and slightly sensitive. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Out of the packet, I caught the familiar honey scent that most Papa Recipe sheet masks have. The material felt soft and thin and came with a thick plastic backing. Essence was clear and had runny consistency.

Fit was bad. The holes were too small and the sheet was alot wider than it was long, giving rise to bunching at the ears. However, it was easy to manipulate to get a good fit, thanks to the softness of the material.

Adherence was great! It clung on the entire time without lifting or introducing any air bubbles.

I took the mask off after 30 mins, the edges were starting to turn white and dry out.

After masking

My skin felt very hydrated and looked very calm. Finish was slightly tacky and looked silky. I did not notice any other changes.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

This was a pretty mediocre mask, but I would consider it a disappointment as Papa Recipe masks always performed pretty well on my skin. Check out more Papa Recipe reviews here.
