Manyo Factory Pure Cleansing Oil is an organic cleansing oil rich in nourishing complex like amino acids, fatty acids, and vitamins. It’s a light cleansing oil that does not block pores, effectively treating blackheads and acne. Due to its texture, the oil penetrates deep into the pores and removes impurities, while strengthening the skin barrier, smoothing out wrinkles, and improving skin tone. This effective and multitasking cleanser removes makeup and skin impurities while providing essential moisture level. Ideal for all skin types, its non-greasy texture leaves skin feeling moisturized. Does not contain artificial ingredients.
I’ve always had the habit of double cleansing ever since I know how to use makeup. It’s the most important skincare habit instilled in me by my mother. The first makeup remover I’ve ever used belonged to my mom and it was oil-based. Ever since I discovered solid cleansing balms like Banila Co Clean It Zero, I’ve never gone back to cleansing oil due to the it’s convenience factor and inability to easily get into my eyes. Trying this out made me visit my good ol’ first cleanse days and I’m glad I did because *Spoiler Alert* I love this cleansing oil!
3 pumps – full face of makeup including waterproof mascara
This cleansing oil has a light yellow tinge to it, almost colorless. It is a lightweight oil which makes it runnier than most oils, and has a very subtle scent.
In the demo above, after rubbing the oil around for 3 mins, longer lasting makeup like waterproof eyeliner and waterproof mascara still stayed put. However, I discovered that these remove easier with a cotton pad soaked in cleansing oil.
Just place the cotton pad over the stubborn makeup and let it sit for a minute. Then gently wipe it off. Everything just comes right off. Next, I’ll add a little water to emulsify and give it a little more slip so I don’t drag it around my skin too much.
Due to how runny it gets, there’s a higher tendency of product getting into my eyes compared to cleansing balms. Even when it gets in, I get a slight blurry vision without any irritation. Denser cleansing oils I’ve used in the past tend to cloud my eyes for a longer period of time, sometimes to the point of stinging my eyes.
After rinsing off the oil, my skin feels soft and hydrated without any greasy residue. I usually follow this up with a low pH cleanser to completely remove all makeup and impurities from my skin.
Overall, I really enjoyed using this cleansing oil. It’s one of the best ones I’ve used so far. However, due to the eye-entering factor and the need to use cotton pads to remove stronger makeup, I still prefer cleansing balms. Check out more Manyo Factory reviews here.
