Review: A’pieu My Skin Fit Sheet Mask – Honey ★★★☆☆
I have love-hate relationship with this packaging. On one hand it’s so simple and pretty, on the other hand, it’s humongous and a challenge to store. But what matters most is its insides so let’s get on with the review.
These A’pieu Skin-Fit mask series comes in 7 varieties: lime, rose, baobab, quinoa, honey, broccoli, and sea buckthorn. This series claims to provide intensive hydration and protect the skin against harmful external environment factors.
A’pieu My Skin Fit Sheet Mask – Honey contains 6,000ppm honey extract to hydrate and moisturize rough and dry skin. Honey is also known for having anti-bacterial properties, making this a great mask for acne-prone skin.
My skin is feeling pretty normal today. It’s showing some redness which is happens pretty commonly. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
The lyocell material felt soft and thin like silk, but better because it’s derived from natural wood so no silk worms were harmed. It also had excellent absorbency and smooth texture that helps deliver ingredients effectively. The sheet came with a tick plastic backing to aid with the application. Essence was clear and runny and gave off a faint honey floral scent.
Fit and adherence were great! Though I would prefer if the mouth hole could be slightly wider. I love that the mask was long enough to cover my entire forehead, which is rare. The material was soft enough to push down wherever there was excess. It really easy to adjust for fit. I took the mask off after 25 mins, it was still slightly damp.
There were lots of essence left to pat in. Finish was tacky and dewy.
My skin felt moderately hydrated and intensely moisturized. Redness was completely gone, leaving behind an even-toned and radiant complexion. Skin texture looked smoother as pores were blurred and fine lines were plumped. I followed up with a couple layers of watery toner to balance out my combo skin.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Overall, it was an above average mask. My favorites in order of preference are still the broccoli, sea buckthorn, and baobab variants. Check out more A’pieu reviews here.
