Before masking

My skin is feeling normal to oily as the days get hotter. My skin is also looking a little more flushed than usual. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Out of the packet, I caught a faint floral fragrance. Essence was clear and had a watery-gel consistency.

The Skin-Fit felt fabric, an eco-friendly and bio-degradable material, felt very thin and soft, almost silk-like. It came with a thick plastic backing to hold its shape and aid with application.

During masking

Fit was great! The sheet was large enough to cover my entire face with some excess on the sides. The material around the chin could be a tad longer and the mouth hole could be a tad larger. But I find those issues minor.

Adherence was great thanks to the thin and soft fabric. I was able to easily push out all the air bubbles and flatten all the fold lines. The sheet clung on tightly throughout the entire masking process without any lifts or air bubbles.

I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was still damp.

After masking

There was lots of essence left to pat and massage in. It absorbed with ease, leaving behind an immediate tacky finish. The tackiness gradually disappeared and my skin felt less tacky and looked semi-matte.

Hydration was intense but moisturization was moderate. As such, this is highly suitable for oily skin. Dry skin will find it insufficient and will definitely need a moisturizer. Combo skin will find it balancing but will require a gel moisturizer to seal the goodness in and prevent dehydration.

The greatest improvement I saw was to the tone of my skin. My skin looked brighter than before, albeit temporarily. There was a faint line near my hair indicating where the sheet mask stopped. Redness was also nearly gone.

My skin texture also looked slightly smoother, indicating a mild plumping effect.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

This was a pretty average mask for the price. I know of some dollar masks that are able to perform better. Nevertheless, the ingredients list looked very safe and is great for sensitive skin. Check out more E Nature reviews here.
