Review: Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables White Squeeze Balancing Mask ★★★★☆
Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables White Squeeze Balancing Mask contains white squeeze complex made of 5 extracts, including cauliflower, potato, pear, coconut, and cabbage, to balance damaged areas and smooth skin texture. The combination of these ingredients look more like a shake than a sheet mask!
Key ingredients and benefits:
Cauliflower is a great source of antioxidants, which protect your cells from harmful free radicals and inflammation.
Potato is rich in Vitamin C and can effectively slow down the signs of aging, especially wrinkles.
Pear protects the skin’s surface and helps lock in moisture and maintain elasticity.
Coconut has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antioxidant, and anti-microbial properties that help soothe inflammation, fight acne infections and palliates red dry skin that can cause acne.
Cabbage has excellent skin healing properties. It is effective in curing skin eruptions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rashes, insect bites, leg ulcers and wounds.
The extracts are obtained via a special squeeze solution:
My skin is feeling normal to oily, sebum production wise. It’s redder than usual but no sensitivity. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a strong lychee martini fragrance. It was too much for my sensitive nose. Essence was clear and had a gel-like consistency.
The 100% plant-based cellulose material felt very soft and very smooth. It was also very thin but did not come with a backing. This proved to be a challenge to unfold. Hence I find the below info graphic absolutely necessary for first-timers.
Fit was good. The sheet was large enough to cover my entire face but I just find the material around the chin slightly lacking. The holes were perfectly lined up with my features but they were too small. I experienced essence trickling into my eyes and lips.
Adherence was great! The soft and thin sheet comfortably hugged the contours of my face for the entire masking session.
I took the mask off after 40 mins, it was still very damp.
There was lots of essence left to pat in. It absorbed and dried down with ease, leaving behind a semi-matte finish with a non-tacky velvety feel.
My skin felt nicely hydrated and moisturized. It was the perfect amount of water bomb on my dehydration-prone combo skin. I can choose to skip moisturizer when I use this during the day time. As such, I think both oily and dry skin types are able to comfortably use this mask too.
The greatest improvement I saw was to my skin texture. My skin looked very smooth and plump. Pores looked smaller and fine lines were diminished.
The was a moderate amount of redness-reducing and brightening effects. Overall, my skin looked and felt very comfortable and healthy.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
