It also contains Vitamin E to strengthen the skin barrier and act as an antioxidant, while NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), moisturizes deeply. The brand recommends this as an after sun treatment to moisturize and calm the skin.
Key ingredients and benefits:
Tea tree extract (1,080 ppm) has the ability to immediately soothe irritated, sensitive, and red skin. It’s anti-bacterial property also makes it great for combating acne.
A renowned anti-oxidating agent, Vitamin E (50 ppm) maintains skin strength, preventing oxidation.
NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) provides deep moisture to the skin, strengthening its barrier.
My skin is feeling normal to oily, sebum production wise. It’s redder than usual and also sporting a few red bumps. They look like impending deep cystic acne. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a faint tea tree scent. 33 ml of essence had a thick gel consistency. After retrieving the sheet mask, there was enough essence left in the packet for the rest of my body. The cupra sheet had a medium thickness and felt soft and plush. It did not come with a backing.
Fit was great! The sheet was so large I had lots of excess material around the sides. I only found the material on the philtrum too long for my feature. Aside from that small complaint, everything else fitted perfectly.
Adherence was great thanks to the thick viscous essence. There weren’t any lifts nor air bubbles introduced.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was still damp.
There was lots of essence left to massage into my skin. It took awhile to absorb and dry down, leaving behind a tacky feel and dewy finish.
My skin felt very hydrated and moisturized. It felt too thick on my combo skin, hence a moisturizer wasn’t required. However, it continued to dry down throughout the day, and the finish gradually felt more comfortable. I don’t think this is suitable for oily skin types but dry skin types will really enjoy this.
The greatest improvement I saw was to my skin texture. My skin was plump and supple that my skin texture looked very smooth. In turn, pores looked smaller and fine lines were gone.
Skin tone wise, I did not notice any brightening effects but most of my redness has subsided. I was expecting it to totally be gone since the sheet mask claimed to be a soothing one.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
LGH masks have performed pretty consistently on my skin. They’re above average but not quite amazing. They’re more suitable for people whose only skin issue is dryness. Check out more LGH reviews here.
