Review: Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables Yellow Squeeze Brightening Mask ★★★.☆
Papa Recipe Bombee Fruitables Yellow Squeeze Brightening Mask contains white squeeze complex made of 5 extracts, including yuja, mango, pineapple, loquat, and ginger, to brighten and hydrate dull skin. The combination of these ingredients look more like a shake than a sheet mask!
Key ingredients and benefits:
Yuja is known to provide antioxidant protection, which can help to promote anti-aging and skin rejuvenation for a more youthful appearance.
Mango has a skin hydrating effect due to its polysaccharide/amino acid complex.
Pineapple contains high antioxidant properties due to its generous levels of Vitamin C, which can protect skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals.
Loquat has the ability to provide calming relief to skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.
Ginger promotes circulation and is a natural anti-inflammatory. It has stimulating, anti-irritant and antiseptic properties.
The extracts are obtained via a special squeeze solution:
My skin is feeling sensitive and even more prone to dehydration due to the sudden drop in temperatures. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a strong grapefruit fragrance. It was too much for my sensitive nose. Essence was clear and had a gel-like consistency.
The 100% plant-based cellulose material felt very soft and very smooth. It was also very thin but did not come with a backing. This proved to be a challenge to unfold. Hence I find the below info graphic absolutely necessary for first-timers.
Fit was good. The sheet was large enough to cover my entire face but I just find the material around the chin slightly lacking. The holes were perfectly lined up with my features but they were too small. I experienced essence trickling into my eyes and lips.
Adherence was great! The soft and thin sheet comfortably hugged the contours of my face for the entire masking session.
I took the mask off after 40 mins, it was still very damp.
There was lots of essence left to pat in. Finish was non-tacky and looked silky.
My skin felt more hydrated than moisturized. This is the preferred amounts on my combo skin. A light gel moisturizer was all I required when I used this at night. As such, I think oily skin types will also enjoy this on colder nights. Dry skin types will require a moisturizer over this.
The greatest improvement I noticed was to the softness of my skin. My skin felt baby smooth and very supple.
There was a slight reduction in my redness. I did not notice any significant brightening effects either.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This had more of an above average performance compared to the ones I’ve tried before. Check out more Papa Recipe reviews here.
