Wonjin Medi Energy Infusion Mask
Before masking

My skin is feeling sensitive and even more prone to dehydration due to the colder temperatures. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Wonjin Medi Energy Infusion Mask

Out of the packet, I caught a cologne-like fragrance of a moderate strength. Essence was clear and runny. There was still lots of essence left in the packet after the sheet mask was removed. I poured the left over essence into a container and used it in my night routine. The mask material was super thin and silk-like. According to the brand, this material is called a MediSeal sheet. It is the thinnest, medical sterile sheet, used in Wonjin for patients with burns after laser surgery to gently treat vulnerable skin.

During masking

Fit was good to great. The soft material made it really pliable. But the overall size of the sheet was on the small side and only covered the inner perimeter of my face. The holes were also too small for my features, so much so that essence dripped into my eyes and mouth during the masking process.

I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was starting to dry out.

After masking

The essence left on my skin absorbed with ease after a few quick pats. Finish was matte and non-tacky.

My combo skin felt intensely hydrated and moderate-to-high level of moisturization. A gel moisturizer was required especially since I used it during the cold season. I still think it is suitable for all skin types but oily skin will enjoy this more. Compared to its sister mask, the Medi Hydro Vial Mask, this one left my skin slightly more moisturized.

The greatest improvement I saw was to the redness of my skin. My skin was super calm, and did not show any redness. My skin tone also looked even and radiant.

The plumping effects were out of this world! My skin looked and felt baby smooth. Fine lines and pores were blurred.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

It’s been awhile since I’ve rated a sheet mask 5/5 stars. It delivered its promise and more. This one is a clear winner and I foresee myself reaching for this mask whenever I can’t decide what to use. Check out more Wonjin reviews here.
