My skin is extra sensitive and red today. Sebum-wise, it’s feeling like normal skin with the usual slight dehydration. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Papa Recipe Green Honey Mask Pack

Out of the packet, I caught the familiar honey scent that most Papa Recipe sheet masks have. Essence was light green and had a runny-gel consistency.

The mask was tinted green from the essence. The material felt really unique, like a blend of microfiber and cotton, but also like thick membrane. It had a medium thickness and felt very soft and smooth. It also with a thick fabric backing.

Fit was moderate. The holes were too small and the overall sheet size was also small. It only covered the inner perimeter of my face. However, the material was very soft and pliable.

Adherence was great! There were lots of overlaps and folds but no lifts and air bubbles.

I took the mask off after 40 mins, it was still slightly damp.

After masking

The remaining essence absorbed with ease. Finish was dewy and tacky at first but quickly dried down to matte and felt non-tacky.

My skin felt very hydrated and moderately moisturized. But the essence continuously absorbed and dry down and my skin quickly felt dry on the outside. It still stayed hydrated. As such, I don’t think this mask is suitable for dry skin. Oily and combo skin might like it better.

The greatest improvement I saw was to the tone of my skin. My skin looked brighter and more even. Redness was also almost completely gone.

Apart from that, my skin also felt bouncy, soft, and supple.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

I’m rarely disappointed by Papa Recipe’s masks and this is not an exception. My skin loves honey and propolis and combining them with different ingredients just give Papa Recipe’s masks an extra boost. Check out more Papa Recipe reviews here.
