Review: Dearpacker French Winery Miracle Time Lifting Hydrogel Mask ★★★★☆
Dearpacker French Winery Miracle Time Lifting Hydrogel Mask features french wine and pomegranate extracts to firm up skin. It provides loosened skin with 360 degrees pull to restore youthfulness and elasticity.
Key ingredients and benefits:
Red wine is packed with antioxidants like flavonoid, resveratrol and tannin which help fight ageing by restoring collagen and elastic fibers.
Being rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants, pomegranates can help delay the signs of aging. These antioxidants also fight skin inflammation and treat acne breakouts and dark spots. They also naturally brighten the skin.
My skin is extra sensitive and red today. Sebum-wise, it’s feeling like normal skin with the usual slight dehydration. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a faint grape scent. Essence was clear and had a runny-gel consistency.
The pink hydrogel mask came in 2 pieces, 1 for the top and 1 for the bottom of the face. It felt thin yet sturdy and came sandwiched between 2 plastic backings. One side felt slightly smoother than the other but I don’t think there’s a correct side to put against the skin.
There was a cool sensation upon putting the hydrogel mask to my skin.
Fit was perfect because the mask came in 2 pieces which made adjusting very easy. The pieces were also soft enough to manipulate. However, the overall size was on the small side. It covered the inner perimeter of my face, leaving part of my forehead uncovered and my chin uncupped.
Adherence was great too! It clung on really well to my skin. There were no lifts or air bubbles throughout the masking process. I was even able to talk normally without having to mutter like a creepy person.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, the outside was dry but the inside was still damp.
The remaining essence absorbed with ease, leaving behind a slightly tacky and slight dewy finish.
My combo skin felt nicely hydrated and moisturized, enough not to apply a moisturizer afterwards. Just a layer of sun screen and I’m good to go! I think all skin types will enjoy this mask as the finish was very light and not icky at all. Dry skin might require a moisturizer over this mask.
The greatest improvement I saw was to the texture of my skin. It’s so smooth and soft like a baby’s butt! Pores looked smaller and fine lines were “ironed” out. It looks like I had a blurring effect going.
On top of that, my skin also felt very supple, bouncy, and plump. It was such a delight to touch and poke at my skin.
I did not notice any skin brightening effect. Some redness was also still present on my skin.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I’m constantly plagued by skin redness and dehydration. This mask managed to address one of my main concerns and addressed it well. However, there are other more suitable Dearpacker masks for my skin. Check out more Dearpacker reviews here.
