Review: Purlisse Blue Lotus + Seaweed Treatment Sheet Mask ★★★★☆
This sheet mask came in the Ipsy Maskerade set which is currently sold out. I’m really excited to try this out because I love purlisse’s skincare products. They are gentle on my skin yet works like a charm. So I have high hope for this mask.

Alrighty my skin looks and feels horrible today. It is dry, irritated and dull. Then again, when does it not? Notice the redness on my cheeks. I’ve already cleansed and toned my skin, find out how I prep my skin for masking here.
Upon whipping it out of the bag, this mask has a strong fragrance. It is not dripping with essence, just appropriately soaked. It’s made of a slightly thick, fibrous material.
I had to cut slits in the usual places, the temples, chin and sides of nose area for a better fit. 5 minutes into it and my skin had a slight tingly sensation, I decided to bear with it anyway. The discomfort went away in the next 5 minutes but I could still smell the fragrance the entire time it was on.
I kept the mask on for about 30 minutes and the essence is almost entirely soaked so I layered on a light moisturizer for extra hydration. My skin felt good! The stretchy irritated feeling is gone, redness is reduced and my skin tone looks brighter overall. Here is a side by side of the before and after for comparison.
I look happier in the before picture but I am definitely feeling happier in the after picture. From this comparison I could also tell that my skin is visibly smoother and has a slight glow to it. This mask is worth repurchasing and worth the $8 price tag for how drastically it improved my skin! I knew Purlisse wasn’t going to let me down! Check out more Purlisse reviews here.
