Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask

Review: Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask ★★★★☆

Ahh, blackheads and whiteheads, the bane of my life. Should I give up hope of achieving a poreless complexion? I’m addicted to the effectiveness of pore strips for the nose and I really wish someone would make one for the rest of the face too because the nose is not the only part of the face that gets clogged up with black heads. Well my wish was granted when Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Clean Up Mask entered the market. I know some people only recommed it for the nose and some for the entire face. I say it depends on the sensitivity of your skin since this will essentially require some ripping off. My skin is mildly sensitive but I decided to be brave and test this out anyway.

This pore pack in a tube claims to remove dead skin cells, shrink pores, reduces pore wastes, and reduce excessive sebum secretion. It contains 4% Charcoal (helps in sebum control), Chinese Pea Shrub (helps with skin caring), and Camellia flower (helps with pore care).

Doesn’t the name of this product just reminds you of infomercials? What to do when you have large pores? Use HELL PORE!

Alrighty, here’s the mandatory mugshot. I usually “evacuate” my pores one a month with a clay mask, and today, the month’s up. My pores feel clogged and extremely dirty, especially on the nose, sides of nose and chin area. I’ve prepped my skin but laying a lukewarm towel over my face to open up the pores.

The product comes out of the tube as a dark gray gel-cream consistency that smells like school glue, it will dry solid. I prefer spreading it on the skin with a spatula tool for better control. Try not to get it on the hairline unless you want to be bald.

I’ve avoided the parts of my face that do not have gaping pores. It’s also very drippy so I spent some time making sure I have on a thick enough layer for easy peel off later yet not too thick that it drips all over.

After masking

It took about a good 30 minutes to dry down and during that time the anticipation was killing me! Since my skin is mildy sensitive, instead of ripping it off, I peeled it off quickly but without force. I’ve seen other reviewers who managed to get a whole city of blackheads on their strips so imagine my disappointment when my strips did not show anything! The nose part probably had 2 blackheads and the cheeks part had some peach fuzz. Since it worked well for many people and is being raved about, I’d like to think that my pores are cleaner than I thought!

My skin was slightly red after the whole process, but not too bad, it went away pretty quickly. Pore size appears smaller and my skin felt baby smooth! I couldn’t stop touching it! Here is a side by side comparison of the before and after.

Upon closer inspection it looks like my pores are being stamped and flattened. Even though it did not remove as much gunk as I would like (my issue since my pores are apparently pretty clean), I still like the effect that it gives. There is zero sensitivity from using this product and I could not complain about the awesome price. As this still requires some kind of physical trauma on the skin, I’d recommend using it once a fortnight to a month. This is a product that I would repurchase. I did finish off with a moisturizing mask to sooth the skin and add hydration back in. Check out more Elizavecca reviews here.
