Since my skin is still in the process of recovering, I try not to test out too many sheet masks.
Scinic My Juicy Bottle Mask (Soothing Ampoule Juice) is my go-to for when I’m too lazy to decide what sheet mask to use because I know for sure that it delivers. This ampoule mask has aloe vera and tea tree to sooth irritated skin. I got this from Beauteque for $1 each.
My skin is currently very red, blotchy, irritated, raw and dry from an allergic reaction. I’ve already cleansed my skin and patted in some toner. I’ve skipped exfoliation today to avoid further aggravating my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking here.
Upon opening the packet, I get a very faint fragrance. Due to the narrowness of the opening, it was a little challenging to get the sheet mask out. I had to stick my pointer and middle fingers deep into the packet and fish out the sheet mask like how chopsticks would. The material is also super soft and is drenched in clear essence. It unfolds very easily.
It fits pretty well on my face, with some excess on the sides. But then again, I’d rather have a larger sheet masks that covers more than a smaller one that doesn’t sufficiently cover my skin. It adheres well to the contours of my face. I had this on for about 40 minutes and there was zero stinging throughout the entire masking process.
Upon removing the sheet mask, there is still a thin layer of essence left on my face. I patted it in and noticed how smooth and soft my skin feels. The cooling sensation also calmed down my skin alot. Below are side by side of the before and after pictures for comparison.
From the comparison above, it looks like the redness has been reduced in the more severe areas and has completely disappeared in the less severe areas. My skin also looks dewy and hydrated. This effect lasted throughout the day for me. For how wonderful it performed and for the price, I would definitely recommend this to everyone. Needless to say, I have repurchased this multiple times over.
Go be beautiful!
