Naruko Bunga Raya Snow White Ice-Cooling Mask is a special edition is that’s exclusive to Malaysia. The artwork on the packaging is so apt, hibiscus is the national flower of Malaysia and the polar bear signifies coolness.
It claims to provide hydration, even out the skin tone, and reveal calmed, soothed skin. I’m please to see niacinamide listed as the 4th ingredient. Other humectants include urea and hyaluronic acid. There are some floral extracts too. Coloring seems to be present, sensitive skin users beware.

I’ve cleansed and toned my skin, skipping exfoliation to let my skin continue to recover from contact dermatitis. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
The mask is slightly pink due to the presence of coloring (CL16255). There is also a very light floral scent.
I did not feel a cooling effect as I placed the sheet mask on my face. I was expecting it to feel like MBD’s Antarctica mask, an instant cooling sensation without being pre-refrigerated. The fit was okay, I’ll only need additional cuts around the nose area. However, the material is pretty thick so adherence wasn’t that great. The edges kept threatening to unpeel from my face. I had this on for about 40 mins and the edges are starting to dry out.
I did not feel nor see a difference in my skin, except for some light hydration. Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Overall it’s just an okay mask with normal hydration , just enough for daytime use in the tropics. Find more Naruko reviews here.
