Review: Naruko Collagen Booster Firming Mask ★★★★☆

Naruko Collagen Booster Firming Mask is an anti-aging mask that claims to hydrate, repair, and restore elasticity to skin. The NRK line has some of the prettiest packaging I’ve ever seen. Trying this out as a desperate move to grasp on to the tail ends of my 20s.

Naruko is a Taiwanese brand founded by Niu Er. He is a skincare guru who is known to look 20+ years younger than he really is.

I’m surprised to see sea salt listed as one of the ingredients.

Skin is looking not as red as usual, but it’s still pretty dry. I’ve already cleansed and toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Material

A medium thick fabric soaked in drippy clear essence, this has a non-invasive clean scent.

During masking

Fit is decent, needed a couple of cuts, but I couldn’t say the same for its adherence. It was hard trying to get the entire thing to stick to my skin. I had this on for about 40 mins and it did not irritate my sensitive skin one bit.

After masking

My skin is even, bright and glowy, I did not see any difference in the firmness of my skin. The remaining essence got absorbed into my skin very quickly and left a non-sticky finish. However, I find the hydration insufficient and had to top off with a thicker moisturizer.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

That said, I still think this is an amazing sheet mask for the wonderful things it did to my skin. Find more Naruko reviews here.
