This Water Glow Injection mask is one of four in the injection mask line, the latest release from Banobagi. All four are made using different types of materials, this particular variety is made of bamboo charcoal that helps detox any impurities in the skin. Find reviews of the other varieties here.
This variety contains beneficial ingredients such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, tea tree, lemon, licorice, honey, and peppermint extracts. These components are great for calming, brightening and hydrating skin. This also contains carbomer towards the end of the list, sensitive skin users beware.
My skin is feeling very dry and mildly irritated today. I’ve already cleansed, toned and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I detected a light medicinal scent. The sheet mask was made of soft, medium thick, bamboo charcoal sheet and drenched in clear, watery, non-drippy essence. Good thing it came with a backing, the material was super soft and might have torn or fallen while unfolding.
Adherence was great! Fit for the holes were great but I had to give the sides a few snips to get the perfect fit. I wore this for 30 mins and it was starting to dry out. I did not experience any sensitivity throughout the entire masking session.
My skin looked even, less red, plump and felt soothed and hydrated. The leftover essence dried down to a non-sticky finish. Due to my combo dry skin, I added a thin layer of moisturizer to seal in the goodness.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I would recommend this for all skin types and would totally repurchase! Check out more Banobagi reviews here.
