Review: Be Balance Qupra Hydro Timeless Cell Mask ★★★★★

This is a 3-step mask that aims to hydrate, firm and brighten not only the face, but the eye and neck areas too! Looks like a nifty set to bring for travels, no need to drag along the whole arsenal.

Ingredient list looks pretty cool, with poison complex in the eye gel; niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and botanical extracts in the sheet mask; collagen in the cream.

Before

My skin is feeling very dry and mildly irritated today. I’ve already cleansed, toned and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Step 1: Timeless Eye Contour Gel

Step 1: This pack contains a scentless clear gel that is meant to go on the entire face, even eye area. There is enough for two applications.

After Step 1: Timeless Eye Contour Gel

It felt cool and calming on the skin, and sinks in fast. My skin felt hydrated and looks dewy at this point.

Material

Step 2: This contains a 2-piece sheet mask for the face and neck. It smells faintly of ginseng and was soaked in tons of clear essence. The material is thin yet strong. Since the two pieces came folded together, I found it rather cumbersome to scrunch the wet and slimey neck mask in my hand while I put in the face mask.

Fit was great for face mask, it is wider than it is long. I was impressed by how many slits there are on the neck mask. There is even an opening for the adam’s apple. I was able to get a snug fit very easily and maintain the fit as long as I keep still, not suitable for multi-tasking. However, due to the how viscous the essence was, my neck area started to feeling slightly uncomfortable. I removed just the neck mask after 15 mins. Essence dried down to a slightly tacky finish.

After Step 2: Qupra Timeless Cell Mask

At this point my skin looks visibly brighter, less red, and felt very hydrated. Essence dried down to a slightly tacky finish.

Step 3: Timeless Hydro Cream

Step 3 contains a thick face and neck cream which has a heavy lotiony scent. The scent and texture reminds of of expensive creams. It’s easily spreadable and sealed everything. However, due to how thick it was, I’d recommend using this separately or if you’re especially dry.

After Step 3: Timeless Hydro Cream

After all 3 steps, my skin felt overly hydrated and greasy, which was not a bad thing for my dry skin, it gave prolonged hydration. My skin also looked brighter, less red, and very glowy. Pore size was minimized too.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

Overall I really enjoyed this mask, the neck area should really be getting more care. It is also great for travels. At $6 a piece on Calij, I think it’s reasonable for a 3-step mask that delivered such excellent quality!
