After a long weekend in the desert that is Vegas, it’s time to rehydrate and brighten! This mask claims to drench skin in ultra hydration and nutrition for instantly glowing, clear skin.
The ingredient list looks stellar as it contains botanical extracts and botanical ferment filtrates from top to bottom! Fermented ingredients are very beneficial for the skin as the process breaks the ingredients down into smaller and more bio available components that may be more readily absorbed and utilized by skin. All the botanical ingredients in here are organically grown and eco-friendly! It is also free of parabens, mineral oils, synthetic dyes and fragrances. Perfect for my sensitive skin and inner tree hugger!

My skin is slightly irritated today, otherwise it’s pretty normal. I’m also dealing with the aftermath of a huge breakout, which is hyperpigmentation. I’ve already cleansed, toned and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
The packaging is super interesting, it’s a flat, see-through container, not the usual foil packet. I had fun shaking it and watching the jelly essence slide all over the place! The jelly-like essence smelled faintly herbal, very pleasant and fresh.
The hydrogel was so super thin! Thinnest I’ve ever seen! That said, it wasn’t difficult to unfold and place on the skin, thanks to the plastic sheet backing. Still, it was pretty slippery. There wasn’t much essence left in the packaging.
Both top and bottom pieces stayed in place throughout. There was a minty cool sensation, which felt super refreshing and soothing. I wish it was long enough to cover my entire forehead and go over my chin a little. It currently stops three-quarter way to my hairline and barely touches the tip of my chin. I had this on for an hour and the hydrogel, although starting to thin out, refused to dry, I took it off anyway.
There was hardly any essence left on my skin, I probably shouldn’t have left it on for so long. But my skin felt hydrated and looked like a had tinted moisturizer on. Pores were minimized and redness reduced, my skin texture looked very smooth. There was moderate brightening.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I’m super happy with this mask and can’t wait to try the other varieties! It may be on the pricey side but every cent was worth it for this result. I would repurchase and highly recommend this to all skin types!
