Goodal makes my favorite first essence and calming mask, I hope to add this to the list too. Like all the other varieties of their fermented wildflower sheet masks, the packaging is so pretty! Each one features a different flower and benefit. More Goodal reviews here.
This claims to improve skin elasticity and deeply nourish with 1,000 ppm of Moon Orchid extract, Camellia oil, sunflower seed oil, and safflower oil. However, this does contain mineral oil at the top of the list.
My skin is feeling slightly dry and irritated today. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, it gave off a strong lotiony scent. Essence was milky.
The 100% cotton sheet was so so thick and opaque.
Fit was alright, there weren’t enough slits so I inserted one on the chin to get it to fit better. Adherence was meh. Just a few mins in air bubbles starting forming and I had a goatee. I kept this on for 30 mins, it was starting to dry out, especially on the forehead.
The remaining essence took some time and effort to massage in. It dried down to a silky finish and felt like a thin layer of lotion on my skin. There wasn’t any lifting effect but my skin felt very hydrated with slight brightening and plumping. These mediocre effects only lasted half a day.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Perhaps the lifting effect will start showing with continued use. Still, I’m pretty disappointed by this variant, will not repurchase.
