Before masking

My skin is feeling slightly dry and looking a little dull. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Popping the capsule was super fun but also require gargantuan strength. Next, I massaged and patted the entire packaging till kingdom come because I want it as evenly mixed as possible but could not see through the opaque packaging.

Depressed capsule

It was challenging to get all the essence from the capsule into the main packet as it was made of hard plastic and would only depress to a certain extent.

Upon opening the packet, I detected a strong perfumey scent. Essence was clear, gooey, and had bubbles. I wonder if it’s the result of chemical reaction. Sheet was soft, thin, and holey. Reminds me of a net or the inside lining of men’s swim shorts 😳 I heard tiny bubbling sounds whilst putting this mask on. Essence was clear and gooey, like a watery gel.

During masking

Fit was alright, gave a couple of snips to flatten nose tent, and folded down the extras on the sides. My upper lip was also partially covered. Adherence sucks. Air bubbles kept forming and I can feel the entire mask sliding downwards ever so slowly. I had this on for 30 mins and it was starting to dry out.

After masking

Essence absorbed very easily and left a matte finish. Other than moderate hydration and slight brightening, I did not see anything other effects. At least my skin did not experience any sensitivity or break out from it.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

Bummer! For all the work I did, I was expecting something more. I do not recommend this and will not repurchase.
