My skin is feeling pretty good today just a few post acne marks that need fading. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a whiff of barley. The scent makes me homesick for $2 barley drinks easily accessible at a hawker center. The mask sheet material felt like any other Naruko masks, soft, medium thick but woven in a way that’s easily tearable.
Fit was alright, I had to cut a few slots to get rid of nose tent and also get the chin area to fit better. I also folded down the sides, they were too wide. Adherence was great! There was enough essence left in the pack to pour over my forehead for prolonged masking. I had this on for 40 mins, it was starting to dry out with white patches.
After massaging in the abundant essence, my skin felt super hydrated and smooth. My skin looks very bright and poreless! I did a nose strip prior to masking and my nose pores were teeny tiny! To attest to the brightening prowess, the part of my forehead that was uncovered was significantly darker than the rest of my skin. What sorcery is this! Finish was dewy and sticky but eventually faded after an hour or so.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
HG status for sure! I’m so glad I have backups of this! Find more reviews of Naruko sheet masks here.
