I adore the packaging of these NOHJ mask series, I can actually see the essence flowing around in the packet! The only downside is that it’s hard to photograph. White text against a frosted background does not show up at all. Then again, 99% of the text is in Korean and I can’t comprehend it so *shrugs*.
This mask claims to soothe skin and purify pores at the same time. It contains essence prepared from 30 kinds of natural extracts and does not contain synthetic preservatives, minerals, animal components, benzophenone, and mineral oil

My skin is feeling pretty good today, just some redness and a few post acne marks that need fading. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a light citrusy scent. The mask sheet felt very soft and thin and decorated with gold flecks! Essence was clear and gooey.
Fit was great when I eventually got it to conform to my facial contours. The sheet was so soft it was a challenge to adjust and put on. When it starts sticking to itself, it take alot of time and effort to unstick it. Adherence was great! It was still super clingy after 45 mins despite having dry patches.
Leftover essence absorbed fast and left a tacky finish. The tackiness also made it hard to dust off the gold flecks, it’s okay, I like to feel fancy. My skin felt nicely hydrated and looked very bright and smooth. Redness was also diminished. However, the wonderful effects did not last long. A couple hours later and my skin was back to it’s crappy state: dry, blotchy, and dull.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
