Texture: Typical lotion texture. Beautiful cornflower blue. Spreads easily and absorbs fast, leaving behind a silky, colorless finish at first, and completely disappeared a couple minutes later. I thought this was going to turn my face blue hence it’s marketed as a midnight cream meant for night use, but the color disappeared once spread.
Scent: Herbal, medicinal. Not overpowering at all. I kinda like it.
Performance: I’ve been using this in the serum step (this layers really well) in both my AM and PM routines consistently for 2 weeks now. I’ve also tried it as a spot treatment. Both ways performed the same since the issue I’m addressing is dermatitis on my forehead and cheeks. I prefer using it on patches where I’m red, not everywhere, to conserve this precious blue substance. No pilling. Hydration wasn’t great but damn, I’ve never seen my face this clear of redness since the beginning of time. This evens out my skin tone and prevents flare ups.
Packaging: Sturdy, dark-colored jar that’s small enough to fit in my palm. Contains 1oz of product. Comes with a functional and spatula.
Conclusion: I love this product to death. With my current usage, I foresee myself stocking up. However, this can get dangerous as my skin is clear enough for me to forget I have sensitive skin and tempted to slather and try on all kinds of products for fun. Check out more Klairs reviews here.
