Review: The Sharing Co +Soothing Moisturizing Mask ★★★★☆
Did you know that people often get dogs on impulse? Too often, they find out they’re unable to keep up with the dogs’ energy level, and then abandon them like trash. How is it humanly possible to do something so cruel to an innocent being 🐈 whose entire world revolves around their owner? Let’s give these angels the love and kindness they deserve, by supporting The Sharing Co. Do a good deed and get their adorably-packaged sheet masks from their Indiegogo campaign! I totally squealed when I saw this Dalmatian-inspired packaging, so no prizes for guessing which one I’m trying out first! All net proceeds go to Best Friends Animal Society, a non-profit organization with the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for homeless animals.
This mask claims to soothe sun-exposed skin, comfort and rejuvenate stressed skin. It contains madecassoside, lavender flower extract, peppermint leaf extract, rosemary leaf extract, chamomile flower extract, centella asiatica extract, and witch hazel extract, just to name a few.
My skin is feeling pretty good today just a tad red and few post acne marks that need fading. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a faint clean scent. Essence felt like a slimey watery-gel. The mask sheet felt thick but soft. Fit was mostly okay, I folded the sides down as they were too wide for me. I might be the only one who loves eye flaps, I think it’s a bonus and I get to choose to take a power nap with this mask on.
Adherence was surprisingly pretty good for such a thick cotton material! My more sensitive nasolabial area did tingle for the first 10 mins. I had this on for 35 mins, it was still clingy and damp.
It took some massaging to get the essence to dry down. The tacky finish gradually disappeared and left my skin with a silky look. My skin felt very hydrated and looked slightly less red, slightly brighter, with slightly smaller pores.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
It’s a pretty impressive mask! I can’t wait to try the other variants!
