Common Lab’s multitasking mask works to rejuvenate dull, stressed skin. Step 1’s gentle peel pad delivers active ingredients without stripping, while Step 2’s cellulose sheet mask infused with a comforting jelly-like essence works to instantly brighten and hydrate all skin types.
After reading so many reviews of this, I finally got my hands on one! Crafted with brightening vitamin C, this two-step mask gives skin an instant glow, leaving it soft, radiant, and refreshed. It contains a gentle AHA/BHA saturated pad that gently removes dead skin cells and purifies pores in the first step and a sheet mask in the 2nd step. I’ve been slowly but surely building up the thickness of my epidermis after a bout of dermatitis almost a year ago. Fingers crossed my skin is finally strong enough to withstand this.

My skin is feeling pretty irritated and looking a little red today. I’ve cleansed my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
The soft cotton peeling pad contained glycolic acid and salicylic acid to provide gentle physical and chemical exfoliation, while hydrating and calming skin down with honey extract, chamomile flower extract, and centella asiatica. This steps aims to remove dead skin cells before the mask goes on the skin, ensuring better absorption of essence.
It felt very soft and smooth on my sensitive skin, no stinging sensation, except on my freshly popped pimple. I massaged this gently all over my face, avoiding the eye area.
The cupra sheet mask felt very soft and had medium thickness. It was covered in 33ml of colorless jelly essence, which contained niacinamide, propolis extract, and vitamin C derivative to hydrate, brighten, and nourish skin. There were still lots of essence left in the packet. So I smeared it over the sheet mask that’s on my face for a prolonged masking session.
Fit and adherence were great! I had this on for 30 mins, it was still very damp.
It took very long to massage in the essence. I even followed up with fanning to get it to dry down faster. Finish was dewy and tacky, but it eventually went away throughout the day. My skin felt extremely hydrated and supple. My skin looked brightened but not the kind that made me go ‘wow!’. The largest difference I saw was an improvement to my skin texture. It looked and felt smooth, pores were also minimized.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I am also happy to report that there were no signs of dermatitis! Whoop dee doo! Check out more Common Labs reviews here.
