My skin is slightly irritated today, especially the right side of my nose, which was stung by a mosquito. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a fragrance that resembled that of Nyquil’s. The nature-derived botanical sheet felt soft and had medium thickness. Since it was a natural sheet, it had a light brown tint to it instead of white. It also came with a perforated thin backing for easy application. Surprisingly, the sheet did not feel as juicy as most sheet masks.
To counter this problem, I scooped the excess essence from the packaging and slathered it on my face prior to masking. Essence also had a light brown tint and felt like a watery gel.
Fit was great! It covered most of my forehead and cupped my chin when most sheet masks don’t. There were some slight excess on the sides to cater to people with wider faces. I can see this fitting most face shapes.
Adherence was mostly great. Air bubbles were easily smoothed out but did resurface slightly during the 30 mins of wear. After 30 mins, parts of the sheet has lighter spots, which is a sign of drying out.
There was little essence left to pat in. Finish was dewy and tacky at first but dried down/evaporated to a silky non-tacky finish in a mere 5 mins. I was amazed by how bright and calm my skin looked! Skin also felt very smooth, soft, and hydrated. There was no change to my pore size and PIH.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Considering the price and the effects this gave, I foresee myself repurchasing this over and over! Check out more Frudia reviews here.
