Drenched in a full bottle of LJH Tea Tree 90 essence, it works deep within the skin to hydrate the skin and reduce inflammation to improve complexion. I’ve always been curious about the LJH Tea Tree 90 essence this sheet mask provided a good segway into it.

Before masking

My skin is slightly irritated and dry today. I’m also dealing with PIH and PIE. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Material

Out of the packet, I caught a faint tea tree scent. I had to put my nose really close to it to be able to detect scent, otherwise, it is pretty much scentless.

This hypoallergenic sheet material is also made from 100% natural cellulose that is extracted from bamboo. It felt very soft and plush, and had medium thinness. It was completely drenched in 27ml of clear runny essence. The perforated plastic backing made unfolding the mask really easy.

During masking

Fit was great! I was amazed that the forehead piece was large enough to almost touch my hairline while also cupping my chin. Most masks are rarely long enough to do that. The multiple slits helped with getting a face-hugging fit.

Adherence was also great! I could feel it clinging on to my face during the whole masking session.

I had this on for 30 mins, the mask was still damp when I took it off.

After masking

There were lots of essence left to pat in. Finish was silky and non-tacky. My skin felt baby soft, smooth, and bouncy. Overall redness was reduced, including my existing cystic acne. I did not notice any brightening effects. The amount of hydration was just nice, there was no greasy film sitting on my skin. My skin tone looked even and had a nice subtle glow.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

This mask gave me an overall healthy complexion, I am highly considering getting the essence. It is a great mask for days when my skin is acne-ridden or extra irritated. I think it is perfect for all skin types. Check out more LJH reviews here.
