Medius SOS Water Balm Mask – Moisture Care claims to provide a quick hydra effect for sensitive and dry skin. Using their own “SOS Water Balm Formula”, this mask ensures quick hydration and protection to the skin.
With hibiscus as a main ingredient, this mask contains an abundance of Vitamin C and protein. Centella asiatica extract, chamomile flower extract, and hyaluronic acid will all work together to calm and hydrate the skin.
I love the vintage design on the packaging!

My skin is feeling a tad dry and very sensitive today. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, this mask gave off a standard sheet mask fragrance. The eucalyptus fiber sheet made of ultra-fine yarn technology felt rough and slightly stiff. It came with a netted backing which really helped with the unfolding and application.
The sheet mask was soaked and covered in a unique milky gel essence that felt tacky and viscous. There was 30 ml of essence in the packaging, which meant lots of leftovers for the body.
Fit was great! The sheet was large enough to cover my entire. The holes were perfectly lined up with my features.
Adherence was above average. Fold lines stayed down for the most part, but some of them did pop up throughout the wear, which introduced air bubbles in.
I took this mask off after 30 mins, it was still pretty damp.
There was lots of thick gel essence left to pat in, absorption took longer than a runny essence would. My skin felt extremely hydrated, I could get away without a moisturizer even in the winter. Skin also felt baby soft, bouncy, and plump. I also noticed some brightening and calming. Finish was dewy and tacky, so this is more of a night time mask.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Overall, this gave me a healthy glow, which is what I really need in the colder months. I look forward to testing out the other varieties! Check out more Medius reviews here.
