My skin is slightly congested and dry from neglect. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a cologne scent. The mask sheet material felt thick yet cottony soft. It was soaked in 30ml of clear, runny essence which felt strangely soapy.
Fit was below average. It was a large enough mask to cover my entire face, including my large forehead, but there weren’t enough slits/cuts to get a good fit. So I took my scissors to it to try to get a better fit.
Adherence was bad. It was dangling below my chin and also detaching at certain non-flat areas like around my nose. Air bubbles were also constantly showing up.
I took this mask off after 25 mins, it was still damp.
There were lots of essence left to pat it. It absorbed/evaporated with ease, leaving behind a matte, non-tacky finish. Hydration was minimal but it never claim to hydrate anyway. A layer of moisturizer over this felt perfect on my dehydrated skin type. Aside from slight calming and slight reduction in pore size, this mask performed the best in terms of brightening. My skin tone looked even and bright, so much so that my dark circles appeared to be more obvious.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Considering the price point to its effects, this is a pretty amazing mask for all skin types. Check out more reviews of Neogence sheet masks here.
