Review: Leegeehaam Hyal B5 Moisture Mask ★★★☆☆

Leegeehaam (or LeeJiHam) Hyal B5 Moisture Mask contains a combination of hyaluronic acid, Pro-Vitamin B5 (panthenol), and ceramide to deeply hydrate dry skin. These moisturizing ingredients also forms a natural moisture barrier on the skin’s surface to prevent  dehydration and to lock in water content and maintain hydration.

Key ingredients:

  • Hyaluronic acid – regulates cell renewal, lubricates connective tissue, and hold up to 1000 times its own weight in water
  • Pro-Vitamin B5 – keeps skin supple by drawing moisture from the air
  • Ceramide – replenishes lost moisture from using skin drying products and exposure to harsh environment, giving way to smooth and supple skin

Free of parabens, artificial colors, and mineral oils.

Leegeehaam Hyal B5 Moisture Mask
Before masking

My skin is feeling slightly dry and slightly congested today. I’m sporting some deep set whiteheads along my chin, which are turning into cystic pimples. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Material

Out of the packet, I caught a strong cologne-like scent. The super soft and thin sheet felt almost silk-like and came with a perforated plastic backing. It is a hypoallergenic sheet that’s made of 100% natural cellulose extracted from bamboo.

The sheet was drenched in a watery-gel essence, expect some drips whilst unfolding the mask. Since the packet contains 27 ml of essence, there was enough leftover for slathering onto the face before sheet masking, and also for the arms.

Fit was great! It was a large enough sheet to cover my entire face, so I think this would fit most face shapes. I just wish the piece on the upper lip was place higher up. It might just be my issue since I encounter this alot.

Adherence was also amazing! Thanks to the silk-like sheet and abundant essence.

I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was still very damp.

After masking

There were lots of essence left on my skin. After patting that in, it left behind a dewy and tacky finish (which I really like for the winter time). My skin felt extremely hydrated and plump, moisturizer application is optional. I also noticed some calming and brightening but no change to pore size nor skin texture. The pimples on my chin were still red and painful.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

This is a great one for dry skin types whose only concern is dryness. I personally would not repurchase. Check out more LJH reviews here.
