My skin is feeling very dry and slightly irritated today. I’m also sporting a couple of hormonal acne along my chin. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I detected a light ginseng fragrance. It wasn’t a hanbang scent like I expected. The cupra sheet felt soft and had a medium thickness. It did not come with a backing, which was unnecessary anyway. Essence was a thick jelly and coated the sheet unevenly. There was about half a palm full of essence left in the packet, which I slathered all over my face and neck to counter the unevenly coated sheet.
Fit was alright, it was a little too wide for my face and my top lip was covered. It did cup under my chin very nicely.
Adherence was above average. Fold lines stayed down for the most part and the jelly essence helped with the adherence. It pretty much stayed on my face as long as I maintained emotionless.
I had this on for 30 mins and it was still very damp. There was a very slight minty sensation the entire time.
There were lots of essence left on my skin. It took a good 5 mins of continuous massaging and patting for it to dry down to a tacky, dewy finish. Even then there still existed an almost greasy film on my skin. I kinda like it during these winter months but oily skin types might find it abit too much.
My skin felt extremely hydrated and bouncy. I couldn’t stop pressing down on my cheeks and be amazed by how firm and plump they felt. Redness was completely gone and so were my fine lines and pores. In general, my skin looked like a blank canvas, even-toned and radiant. Moisturizer was not needed.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I’m highly impressed with this mask and will be repurchasing! Check out more Iyou reviews here.
