A’pieu Icing Sweet Bar Hanrabong Sheet Mask claims to brighten and clarify skin with citrus fruit extracts and witch hazel extract.
The main ingredient, hanrabong, resembles an orange but with a little bump on top. It’s a seedless and sweet variety of mandarin orange shown above.
A’pieu Icing Sweet Bar Hanrabong Sheet Mask is a one part of A’pieu’s Icing Sweet Bar range of 4 masks with cuter than cute packaging. The other flavors are watermelon (hydrating), melon (soothing), and pineapple (smoothing). It doesn’t seem to be popular despite its affordability. I couldn’t gather much info on it.

Thank my lucky stars my skin is only feeling slightly dry today, no major issues. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I caught a delicious citrus fragrance. The tencel sheet was completely drenched in essence, had a medium thinness and felt soft. It didn’t come with a backing but the sturdy material wasn’t a challenge to unfold or apply. 21 ml of essence was clear and runny but I did not experience any drips. There was hardly any leftover in the packet, just enough for my neck.
Fit was average. It was just large enough to cover the perimeters of my face but wasn’t long enough to cup my chin entirely. The holes were too small and the nose flap was too large. I did experience some essence getting into my eyes and mouth.
Adherence was also average. Fold lines refused to stay down and the entire piece was sliding down ever so slowly. I’m happy to report that there were no air bubbles.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, the edges were starting to dry out.
Essence dried down tacky and dewy after some patting. It continued to absorb and dry down and eventually looked semi-matte and with a slight tackiness.
Hydration was moderate, I’d still need a moisturizer after this. Brightening effects were so slight, if i hadn’t looked close enough I wouldn’t have noticed it. There wasn’t any redness reduction nor any change to my pore size.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
Everything about this mask screams moderate, aside from the packaging design. From the material to the essence to the effects. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t impressive either. It’s still worth a try considering how inexpensive it is.
Go be beautiful!
