A. by Bom 2-Step Ultra Floral Leaf Mask is just like its sibling, the Ultra Cool Leaf Mask, where the step 1 consists of patches to place underneath a sheet mask in the second step. In the case of this mask, the patches are in the shape of cherry blossoms.
This mask aims to achieve:
- Brightening and reducing hyperpigmentation
- Repair skin damage, reducing fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce appearance of acne and scars
Step 1 Floral Leaf Patches
Flower-shaped patches with abundant essence take care of fine wrinkles and soothe skin. Place this on areas that require more care.
Step 2 Ultra Floral Leaf Mask
The essence of this sheet mask contains cherry blossom flower extract, camellia flower extract, rose flower extract and lotus flower extract to provide nutrients and moisturizing effect to the skin. Place this sheet mask over the flower patches to deliver moisture all around the face.

My skin is feeling dry with some redness but no irritation. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
The first sachet contains 2 pink floral patches protected in a thick netted mesh. They’re made from 100% lyocell and felt soft. The cute patches were soaked in clear gel essence. They were giving off a strong cherry blossom fragrance which I found was too much on my sensitive nose.
Since my cheeks were drier than the rest of my face, I decided to place then there. The floral patches were large enough to cover my entire cheek and did not move around once they’re on.
This sheet mask in step 2 also uses 100% lyocell. It is a 100% natural and eco-friendly material. Just like the floral patches, it had a thick netted mesh for a backing and was soaked in clear gel essence. The sheet had a pink tinge to it which I found quite pretty. However, this was also giving off that strong cherry blossom fragrance.
While unfolding the sheet mask and removing the backing, I encountered a couple of snags. Due to the thickness and hardness of the netted mesh, some pointy edges were formed. These edges will catch onto the soft fabric and may even cause a tear if one isn’t careful.
Fit was great! The sheet was large enough to cover my entire face with some excess on the sides. However, I found the eye and mouth holes a little too small and were causing discomfort to my eyelids and lips.
Adherence was average. Air bubbles crept in during the masking session and fold lines were threatening to pop up.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was still very damp. The fragrance was so strong that by this point, the inside of my sensitive nose was hurting.
There were lots of essence left to pat in. It took about 10 mins to absorb or dry down, leaving behind a dewy and tacky finish. My skin felt very hydrated at first but it got drier and drier as the day went by. I should’ve sealed it in with a thicker moisturizer instead of a gel.
My skin also looked less red and a little brighter. Skin was plumped up enough to reduce the appearance of pores. Immediate results were amazing.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
As cute and immediately effective this mask was, I would hesitate to repurchase. This is due to the strong scent and the lack of longevity on my dehydrated skin. Perhaps people with oily skin types who don’t mind strong fragrances will enjoy this more. Nevertheless, it is still an impressive mask. Check out more A. by Bom reviews here.
