Timeless Truth Snow Algae & Hyaluronic Acid Bio-Cellulose Mask is a corrective and preventative treatment for damaged and loss of collagen in the skin. Snow Algae is a very hardy plant found on the glaciers and compact snow in Switzerland. The extreme conditions that this ingredient endures give it amazing properties that can help actively protect the youthfulness of the skin. The light but creamy serum is absorbed quickly by the skin, thereby helping to plump out fine lines and wrinkles. The Snow Algae extract simultaneously boosts collagen production and even helps to rebuild the structure of the network that is damaged.

My skin is feeling dry with some redness. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
There was an abundance of creamy essence in the packet. After fishing out the bio-cellulose sheet mask, there was still a palm-full of essence left in the packet. I slathered it on my neck, arms, and all over my face prior to applying the sheet mask. There was a very faint lotion-y scent.
The bio-cellulose mask felt thick and came sandwiched between a thick fabric backing and a thin mesh backing. The proper way to apply such a mask is to remove the thick fabric backing first, place the bio-cellulose side of the mask on the face, then remove the mesh backing whilst holding down a corner of the sheet mask.
Fit was mostly great! It was a large enough sheet to cover my entire face and with some excess on the sides. There were also eye flaps for nourishing the eye area if one chooses to relax. However, I wish the mouth hole was a little wider. My top lip was covered the entire time and I found that slightly uncomfortable.
Adherence was great as with all bio-cellulose sheet masks. It clung on for its dear life throughout the entire masking session.
I took the mask off after 30 mins. Normally, bio-cellulose masks do not last this long and would dry out and stick to the skin, rendering the removal process slightly painful since it required peeling the mask off. This bio-cellulose mask was still damp at the 30-min mark. It was really easy to remove.
After massaging in the remaining essence, my skin looked and felt amazing! Surprisingly, the finish was silky and not tacky. This was not common with cream masks.
My skin felt very hydrated from the inside out. Redness was gone and skin tone also looked brighter. As with all bio-cellulose masks, my skin texture improved drastically. Pores were smaller, pitted scars and fine lines were plumped, resulting in a smooth complexion.
However, the hydration did not last on my skin. I could feel my skin rapidly becoming drier and drier. So I countered it with a thicker moisturizer.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This is a pretty pricey mask that is meant for special occasions only. Once I sealed in all that hydration with a thick moisturizer, it is still an impressive mask. Do not get fooled by the cream essence. I think all skin types will enjoy this mask even oily ones. Check out more Timeless Truth reviews here.
