My skin is feeling dry with some redness. I’ve cleansed, toned, and exfoliated my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I detected a floral fragrance of average strength. It did not irritate my nose but I’d prefer something more subtle. The scent wasn’t as strong once the mask is on.
The Tencel material felt soft and had a medium thinness. It was sturdy enough to be without a backing, Unfolding and application was also easy. I normally prefer not to use character masks due to the presence of ink. But the prints on this mask were so subtle, I actually really liked it! The sheet mask was soaked in clear watery-gel essence. There was enough essence left in the packet for my neck and arms.
Fit and adherence were amazing as with all the Biobelle masks I’ve tried. The material was soft enough to easily manipulate for fit and it clung on tightly throughout.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, the edges were starting to turn white which means that it was starting to dry out.
After patting in the remaining essence, my skin had an above average hydration from the inside out. There was no need for a moisturizer. Finish felt silky and non-tacky, perfect for applying makeup later on. I also noticed a slight increase in skin brightness and tone. My skin looked alot less red in real life than in the picture above. My skin texture also looked smoother. Pores were smaller and fine lines plumped.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
I am very impressed with this mask! It did an amazing job at prepping my skin for make up, which was also what it claimed to do. I highly recommend this to all skin types! Check out more Biobelle reviews here.
