Review: Moksha Dear Honey Mask Sheet ★★★☆☆

Moksha Dear Honey Mask Sheet is a hydrating sheet mask with an ampoule-type essence. It claims to restore moisture to rough, dehydrated skin, while honey, royal jelly, and propolis extracts fight inflammation and bacteria.

All of Moksha Dear masks contain 91.5% natural ingredients (many of which are rated low hazard by EWG) and are formulated without six harmful ingredients, including parabens, synthetic dyes, and silicone.

This is my first Moksha mask and I’m excited to find out how it fares on my skin! I picked the honey variant from my stash of avocado and green tea because my skin loves honey and propolis so I thought this makes a good segue into the brand.

Before masking

My skin is feeling dry and slightly irritated and congested. I’ve cleansed, exfoliated, and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.

Out of the packet, it gave off a subtle honey scent which reminded me of Papa Recipe masks! The cotton sheet felt thick yet soft and did not come with a backing.

It was entirely soaked in this viscous gel essence. I was able to extract half a palm-full of essence after putting the mask on.

Fit was great! I’m so happy that the holes were large enough to not suffocate my features. There were also some excess on the sides to cater to wider face shapes.

Adherence was average but considered pretty good compared to most thick cotton masks. Air bubbles not did appear throughout the masking session but the edges kept threatening to left up.

I had this on for 20 mins, it was already drying out.

After masking

There was some essence left to pat in. Finish was matte and non-sticky.

It provided some basic hydration to my skin, leaving it feeling very soft. The redness in my skin subsided quite abit, the picture above is not doing it justice. I did not notice any other effects.

Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.

This is a pretty basic mask that I’d grab when it’s on sale. Great for all skin types and day time use.
