25 ml of product came in a heavy glass bottle. It felt more like a thick plastic bottle too. The dispenser is a glass dropper, commonly used for ampoule and serum products. The dispenser felt pretty sturdy. I noticed that it twisted close with a soft click. This is noteworthy because I’ve experienced droppers that twisted close without a soft click, and that makes it prone for the user to turn too tightly and break the top of the dispenser.

The serum ampoule is scentless, clear, and has a thick gel consistency. At first, I found it a little challenging to get the product into the glass dropper. Then I realized that the trick is to squeeze the dropper and let it sit for a couple of seconds before retrieving it from the bottle. Due to the viscous consistency, it takes longer than a runny serum to travel up the glass dropper.

One dropper full of product is sufficient for my entire face. I use it after cleansing and after a couple layers of toner. My dehydration-prone combo skin requires more water hence the thicker gel ampoule is best applied on top of layers of toner. It leaves behind a tacky and dewy finish on my skin. It gradually absorbs and after 10 mins, it is entirely gone without any residue on my skin. I’ll finish my routine with a cream and a facial oil to seal the goodness in.

The formulation is so gentle that I did not feel any irritation or tingle. Even my husband loves it as a post-shave calming serum. My skin immediately feels calm and hydrated. After 2 weeks of continuous usage, my skin feels less irritated and skin barrier feels stronger. As such, I highly recommend it to everyone, even the most sensitive of skin. The thicker consistency also makes it a good addition to include in my winter routine.
