Review: Leegeehaam (LGH) Master Deep & Quick Mask – Aqua Care ★★★☆☆
Leegeehaam (LGH) Master Deep & Quick Mask – Aqua Care is formulated with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C derivative (magnesium ascorbyl phoaphate) to moisturize, hydrate, and brighten skin. It also contains skin calming ingredients like centella asiatica and paeonia suffruticosa root extracts, as well as skin brightening ingredients like niacinamide and adenosine.
My skin is feeling dry today. There are no issues of sensitivity hence the amount of redness is lesser than usual. I’ve cleansed and toned my skin. Find out how I normally prep my skin for masking.
Out of the packet, I detected a regular mask fragrance of moderate strength. Essence was cloudy and had a runny-gel consistency. After retrieving the mask, there was still enough essence left over for my entire body twice over.
The dense and porous air pocket sheet material felt thick yet soft and smooth. It did not come with a backing but did not prove to be challenging to unfold and apply.
Fit was great! The holes were of the right sizes and positions. The sheet was also large enough to cover my entire face. I was able to get it to conform to my facial contours despite the sheet’s lack of slits and thick material.
Adherence was average. The sheet was slipping down ever so slowly and fold lines popped up.
I took the mask off after 30 mins, it was still damp.
The remaining essence took some time to absorb and dry down. Finish was tacky and looked dewy.
My skin felt more moisturized than hydrated. This was not an ideal feel on my combo skin, I require more water than oil. As such, I think oily skin should avoid this while dry skin will benefit from this. Combo skin can use this at night but only after layering a few runny skincare products prior to masking.
The rest of the things that I normally look for, brightness, plumpness, smoothness, and suppleness, were present but only moderately so.
Below is a side by side comparison of the before and after pictures.
This is a great one for people whose only issue is dryness. Since I my main issues are redness and dehydration, I don’t think this did very well on my skin. Check out more LGH reviews here.
